May : Healthy Vision Month

“May is Healthy Vision Month — What’s Your Vision of the Future?

Yearly physical? Check. Dentist appointment? Check. But what about your eye health?

It’s important to take care of your eyes — just like you take care of the rest of your body! Whether you’re looking forward to soaking in the view from your corner office or setting your sights on the Eiffel Tower — you can take simple steps now to make sure you’re seeing your best when that day comes.

Healthy Vision Month is the perfect time to learn how to protect your eyes — and help prevent vision loss in the future. This year, we’re encouraging young adults ages 25 to 35 to make eye health a priority now and for years to come. ”

May is healthy vision month and there are just a few more days left in May to make an appointment for an eye exam.

Same with God.

The days are getting shorter for having your eyes looked at.

As a sub-note do not expect to see anyone else’s sins clearly until you have throughly delt with the plank in your own eye.

Besides smaking everyone you look at in the face with your plank, nothing makes one more short sited than having a plank sticking out of their eye.

Try A Straw

Place a drinking straw straight out from one of your eyes and you will experience very quickly how such ruins your field of vision. You will not be able to walk, become dizzy and certainly cannot focus correctly upon the person you are talking at. This is one of many reasons Seattle’s King County Judges and Prosecutors create far more destruction than solutions for they plank everyone that comes near their “public safety” puffed up pride.

Such will cause your eyes to focus in on the straw rendering everything else in the distant blurry.

Fact is other points of view, the wisdom behind a spiritual man’s actions, for example, cannot come into your field of vision because your little-old-self-frame-of-reverence will not permit it.1

Not only do many a church-goer believe the lie that their plank is the truth but they are unable to focus in on a spiritual man’s wisdom because of this handicap.

Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

(Matthew 7:3-5)

Only Then

As Jesus said, if you want to see clearly others first take the plank out your own eye.

Then and only “then you will see clearly.”
