Shirley Ellis : The Nitty Gritty 1963

Here is the Nitty Gritty about dance.

Some churches are against dancing but a couple devoted to each other in the Lord are free to dance.

Dancing can be holy, should be holy and reflect the righteousness of God.

Anything less is, you guessed it, the sin of impurity. All one need do is look around for the evidence of where such impure dancing has led the world.1

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.  Let them praise his name in the dance: Let them sing praises unto him with timbrel and harp.  For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.
(Psalm 149:2-4)
