Cocaine on the set of Caddyshack isn’t exactly an earth-shattering revelation, but it’s the amount and frequency of the drug that makes the fact that they even finished the film so impressive (and maybe also explains the gopher).
“Cocaine was ‘driving everyone,’” said Michael O’Keefe, who portrayed the film’s hero Danny Noonan. “It would be lunch and someone would say, ‘Do you want to do a line?’ ‘Yeah, sure!’ It was no big deal. This was the ’70s.” – Decider

Folly is loud humor.
Folly is loud humor without discipline and empty of knowledge.
Just watch Caddyshack staring Bill Murray for evidence, facts and truth.
Not that King County Prosecutors of Seattle care about evidence, facts or truth as their kind would rather chase phantom lying accusations than out-right confessions of crimes.
Yet here we have it again admission and glorification of Cocaine use and there is not a prosecutor to be seen or heard from on any level.
Must be no political gain in prosecuting popular protected groups of individuals. Best to go after the poor, the weak and vulnerable in the land. Brilliant!
The drug use and folly in the movie Caddyshack is no shock to the system as the Woman Folly, yep, without apology, the Woman Folly is loud and defiant.
The woman Folly is loud; she is undisciplined and without knowledge. (Proverbs 9:13)
[ Bonus Wisdom ]
Far more good would have been done prosecuting open confessions of drug use by actors and musicians than all the just say “no” to drugs and prosecutions of “little” folk combined.
Prosecutors by their constant corrupt delaying tactics have only increased crime, wickedness and sin in your neighborhood.
When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, the hearts of the people are filled with schemes to do wrong. (Ecclesiastes 8:11)
You might want to put down the legalized joint from your lips and give King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg of Seattle Washington a call thanking him for the increase in crime.
Technically pot crimes are way down as it is now legal to be high. Thus is a bizarre twist of logic King County Prosecutors can soon boast, and they will boast, that illegal drug use is way down.
