Rep. Trey Gowdy Courtroom Return

In Gowdy’s own words, “there is a time to come and a time to go” when it comes to politics. The former federal prosecutor said he will go back to the justice system and won’t seek office again.

“Whatever skills I may have are better utilized in a courtroom than in Congress, and I enjoy our justice system more than our political system,” Gowdy said in a statement. – The Blaze

“Serious concerns…”

With the rest of us, non-protected prosecutor class, it would be criminal and you would be all self-righteously proud, well, of yourself for sending everyone else to prison.

Give me a buzz Representative Trey Gowdy when you are ready for the courtroom and willing to repent of your sinful favoritism towards prosecutors (1 Timothy 5:21) because there is a godly case I have for you to engage in for justice and justice alone. (Deuteronomy 16:20).

However, don’t know if I can compete with your wife telling you what would make you happy.

But I can point you to God who will tell you what He wants to be done – whether it makes you happy or not.

Fact is if one follows the Holy Spirit of God they will be doing what they do not want to do – that is the beauty of following Jesus. (Galatians 5:17) Gesh, prisons, and courtroom lawyers are full of individuals doing what they want to do.

“What do you think? There was a man who had two sons.

He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “ ‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.

“Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”

“The first,” they answered. (Matthew 21:28-31)

Gowdy told them he didn’t want to do it after consulting with his wife, Terri, who expressed concerns he might not be truly happy in that role. – Fox News

There is your wife as you stated, but then again I have always recommended and lived by seeking God first in all things. Sometimes, when my wife was still alive, God said to listen to her and sometimes, well, sometimes I just had to be a man about doing God’s will. Yet, it was always God first, God second and God third. You know, love the Lord your God with all... kinda thing.

But God said to him, “Do not be so distressed about the boy and your maidservant. Listen to whatever Sarah (Abrahams wife) tells you, because it is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned. (Genesis 21:12)

Bonus Wisdom:

Now, now, both Representative Trey and xFBI directory Comey …off to quoting your scriptures – of taking the Lord’s name in vain.

Their mouths lay claim to heaven, and their tongues take possession of the earth. (Psalm 73:9)

(—South Carolina Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee who is leaving Congress this year, has turned down the opportunity to be nominated to the federal bench, Fox News has learned.

According to sources, White House Counsel Don McGahn called Gowdy twice to see if he would accept a nomination to serve as a judge on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, but Gowdy declined. McGahn was about to submit a list of names for the 4th Circuit openings, and thought Gowdy wanted to be considered.

It was thought to be Gowdy’s dream job, but the lawmaker has signaled he is more interested in practicing law and teaching. The 4th Circuit has two openings for judges.

Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor, was also approached about the opening by South Carolina Republican Sen. Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham. Gowdy told them he didn’t want to do it after consulting with his wife, Terri, who expressed concerns he might not be truly happy in that role.
